We have 4 doctors who are available from 8am to 12am and 2pm to 5pm. With an on-call doctor available 24/7.
You can get access to treatment and medication in our dispensary. This service is available 24/7.
Our professional team of midwives assist with welcoming the next generation of superheroes into the world.
Our emergency services are available 24/7. We have 8 beds to accommodate our patients.
The ultrasound service is available to everyone from 8am to 12am and from 2pm to 5pm. Our ECG (electrocardiogram) service is available 24/7.
Our laboratory is able to perform several types of analysis and is open from 8am to 12am and from 2pm to 5pm. Saturday from 8am to 11am.
In 2012, South African born, bred and educated Dr. Jane Olivier & her fabulously supportive Engineering husband Jean-Pierre Olivier opened the doors to her dream "Robin Hood" Community Clinic, aka Centre Medical de Toalagnaro.
Her aim was to save the world. His aim was to support his wife and save the world.
Happy wife = Happy life.
The aim of the clinic is to be self-sustainable. Through the money we earn by providing good medical services, we as a Clinic support four free community programmes:
1) Free Family Planning - this is how Dr. Jane plans to save the world.
2) Free Ante-Natal Care - when Dr. Jane's plan to save the world fails.
3) Free Post-Natal Care.
4) Free burns dressings, mostly for the many kiddies burned in the low-burning cooking fires.
Whenever financially possible for our clinic, we also offer free hospitalization and treatment for the many impoverished patients who do not have the money for treatment and/or hospitalization. This unofficial "free" programme is often mothers with sick children, for whom a little treatment and a day or three of oxygen will go a long way to saving a life.
The Clinic started under a guava tree in our back garden. Parents of a child with burn injuries were seen running past Family Olivier's front gate looking for help. After that, word spread, and the journey began.
